About

Hello, I’m Kelley. I’m a Librarian Media Specialist and Officiant. I live in Frederick County, Maryland with my husband, Rick, and our boys. My parents were both Presbyterian ministers and I grew up attending and helping with weddings. I became an officiant of the Universal Life Church because I am comfortable with ceremonies and because I feel that I am living out my parent’s legacy.

My first job is to listen to the couple and to offer multiple types of ceremonies. I offer non-denominational religious, non-religious, same-sex, civil, and elopement services. I value your story and strive to make your ceremony one chapter in it.

We will design your ceremony together. I have options from which you can choose or you can write your own pieces to insert. We can add places for poems, special music, unity candles (or something similar). I specialize in the ‘tying of the knot” portion of the ceremony where I actually join you together in medieval tradition. This was a part of each service my parents performed.

Let’s chat and see if I am the fit for you.

Whatever it is that makes your relationship work, foster that.

We laugh at daily life with our three sons, date often, and watch TV together every evening in side by side chairs.

Let’s get hitched!
